Isabelle EKIERMAN specialises in real estate and construction law.

She graduated in law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in June 1982.

She also received a degree in architecture from La Cambre in 1983, and so naturally came to manage the real estate dossiers in the broadest senses of the term.

She has been a speaker at many conferences and has written a number of publications.

She is a member of the editorial board for the Confédération Construction’s journal, ‘l’Entreprise et le droit’ (Business and the law) and was a law adviser for the Confédération Construction.

She has been opening speaker at the Young Bar of Brussels conference, treasurer for the French-speaking Order of Lawyers of Brussels and a fees arbitrator.

Her real estate practice is founded on seeking rapid and tangible solutions and is known for her pragmatism.

Jacques SAFRAN specialises in real estate law and more specifically in construction law, in the area of the responsibility of builders, urban planning in the Brussels-Capital region and Wallonia and public procurement.

He earned a degree in architecture from the Institut Saint-Luc Bruxelles in 1981 – the Faculty of Architecture, now known as LOCI UCL Brussels.

He also graduated in law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1988.

He has been a lawyer since 1989 and also taught courses on real estate law at the Institut Saint Luc d’Architecture in Brussels, in the Faculty of Architecture, LOCI UCL, and at the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts on interior architecture and urban art, between 1994 and 2016.

Jacques SAFRAN has also been a speaker at the Centre d’Architecture et de Design and provides training to professionals and non-professionals on joint ownership at the Office des Copropriétaires in Brussels.

As a co-author, he has written a study on construction insurance law (Guide de Droit Immobilier, ed. KLUWER) and many articles aimed at those involved in the construction industry.

Sacha GRUBER specialises in real estate law and more specifically in urban planning and environmental law (laws in Wallonia and Brussels).

He graduated in law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in June 2006.

He has been a lawyer since 30 November 2007, following one year of experience in the public sector.

He has also been a professor at the Institut de Communication du Barreau de Bruxelles (ICBB) since 2013, where he also became an administrator in 2016 and President in april 2019.

He was a visiting professor at the Haute Ecole Libre de Bruxelles (HELB) Ilya Prigogine from 2010 to 2013.

Anne-Sylvie STEUX specialises in real estate law and also practices commercial law.

She has a baccalaureate from the Facultés Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix de Namur (FUNDP) which she was awarded in 2012, and a master’s degree in law from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) which she was awarded in 2014.

She has been a member of the Bar of Brussels since February 2015.

Fanette BRIFFEUIL holds a master’s degree in law from the Université de Liège (ULG) which she was awarded in 2016.

She has been a member of the Bar of Brussels since october 2017.

Thomas QUINTIN holds a master’s degree in law from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) which she was awarded in february 2019.

He has been a member of the Bar of Brussels since june 2019.
